When did your passion for Cosmetic Dermatology start?
Dr. Mohamed: The passion stemmed from my dermatology job in a major London teaching hospital. Here I was involved in treating the most severe cases of acne, eczema and psoriasis. Helping those patients successfully manage their conditions brought a great deal of satisfaction and a sense of purpose.
It was after practicing clinical dermatology in both a medical and surgical capacity, that I decided to get further training into the cosmetic side of things.
